Absolute Snow The Challenge

Following several years of considerable growth and transition, Absolute Snow was ready to capitalise on growing brand awareness – by implementing a commerce platform with the tools and integrations it needed to innovate, optimise and accelerate its growth.

This would, however, be a complex migration requiring an array of seamless integrations with crucial back-end systems and processes – what’s more, with peak trading on the horizon, it needed to be quick.

Absolute Snow The Solution

Absolute Snow chose the Remarkable Commerce Platform for a number of reasons – speed of migration, access to an extensive engineering and developer team to support complex, custom integrations, and the platform’s headless, API-first architecture.

  • A team of up to 10 Remarkable developers worked to customise the platform to meet Absolute Snow’s needs – for instance replicating its bespoke nested department, multi-tiered navigation scheme
  • Seamless integrations maintained or strengthened the efficiencies delivered by Absolute Snow’s back-end processes ­– encompassing ERP, warehousing, pick, pack and despatch.
  • Rapid migration saw a new, responsive ecommerce site launch well ahead of peak trading – enhanced by powerful and intuitive content management, search and merchandising tools

Headless architecture has enabled Absolute Snow to move towards omnichannel – for instance installing a kiosk-based ‘cyberstore’ in its showroom.

Absolute Snow Stand-out Feature

Absolute Snow has a completely tailored back-office facility that allows its team to efficiently manage every aspect of day-to-day operations. This includes a custom PIM, OMS and warehouse management system. We also developed a custom ‘cybershop’ facility, which enables customers to place orders at the Absolute Snow HQ via a bank of kiosk terminals.
