Joseph Turner are an established and heritage menswear retailer, who sell premium quality mens clothing, shoes and accessories to their loyal base of customers. The retailer's requirements were comprehensive and their growth plans were ambitious - they were wanting a partner who could help them to speed up their online growth and had a wealth of experience to lean on.
The challenge
Joseph Turner built their online business with a traditional approach to marketing but a unique strategy for campaign activity. They managed promotions and campaigns with a personal approach, giving unique discount codes and promotion groups to different customer types, based on their previous purchase history and stage within their retention strategy. Part of Joseph Turner's development requirements were to allow for this capability but to extend the functionality for a stronger and more comprehensive approach.
Joseph Turner worked with Shopify Agency BluBolt for many years, growing their sales slowly but finding difficulty with development speeds and then were ultimately given an end-of-life notice with their previous platform version - providing the motivation for looking for a new platform and service provider.
The Solution
Remarkable were commissioned to replatform Joseph Turner over to their platform and build them a best-in-class digital commerce site, where customers would feel motivated to engage with their product and purchase.

Within a 6 month replatform project, Remarkable created a deep integration with Aptean's Elucid ERP solution, which remains the master of customer, product, stock and order data - a real-time sync was created to ensure a seamless flow of data between the two solutions.
Connected Storefronts
3 unique storefronts, for the UK, USA and a specific Customer Service version. Each of these sites is interconnected, so that the Joseph Turner team is only updating particular information once and not multiple times.
Dynamic Content Slots
Joseph Turner wished to make better use of empty areas of their site, such as slots on their PDP template. Remarkable configured a dynamic content slot - these slots allow for Joseph Turner to insert relevant content, promoting key features or elements of the product or their USPs, into a group of product pages.
