Overview
Klass was established in 1985 and has progressed to have over 150 stores including standalone stores and concessions throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland. As an established womenswear brand, Klass have built a loyal group of repeat customers and offer a VIP scheme which drives growth.












The challenge
For over 10 years, Klass have operated a internally-created hand-built eCommerce website and backend admin portal, which was difficult to innovate on and was starting to become outdated. They reached out to Remarkable when researching new options and found many of their competitors were already using the Remarkable Commerce platform.
The largest challenge of the project would be that Klass needed to integrate the new site and admin into their existing systems - which would remain master of stock, product and order data.

The Solution
Klass chose to use Remarkable Commerce's suite of APIs to integrate with - they integrated their existing internal systems so they could push new products, collections and stock data to the Remarkable platform, and then pull back new customers and order data. These push/pull routines were created on a schedule with a full-sync each day, which keeps all systems inline.
Schema Template
Remarkable Commerce provided a schema template for Klass, for how to structure their product data which they were pushing to the platform. This meant that Klass could tightly control the product fields and specific data they wished to push to the site.
Quick Launch
Once all systems were integrated, the Remarkable Commerce frontend developers edited their quick-launch storefront template, with Klass's branding and styling - keeping the site clean, quick to load and easy to use.
Stand out Feature
For many years, Klass have rewarded their customers with a VIP scheme. Customers are able to register for a VIP card, and also link their online account with an existing physical VIP card which they had been given in-store. The new Klass website enables customers to do these functions online, without needing to contact customer service.
